I bought this to connect my phone to my vw atlas which has carplay and android auto features my sibling has a google phone and we both drive the car and we hoped this will eliminate the need for two cables clogging the console unfortunately it will only charge the phone and not establish carplay or android auto

Almost too solid the microusb connection is sometimes hard to remove from the phone its so tight
