Although the pouches have a notch for tearing them open i couldn’t tear them and had to use scissors to cut the tops off to access the plastic seal inside it’s like a prepacked cheese wrapper

The listing says they remain effective for about a week once opened so that’s about 3 weeks’ repelling for a family of four wearing one a day

I like the fact that they come in a choice of colours and the colour is printed on the outside of each packet an opaque foil wrapper so that family members can choose which colour they prefer

The smell does exude slightly beyond the packaging when you first open it but i dont think this will be enough to reduce the power of the bracelets at all
