I like that they save energy and im pretty happy with the brightness

My replacement whirlpool 8206232a 40w light bulb only lasted 3 months so im giving this led bulb a shot

These led bulbs do not produce that constant heat and the bottom of the microwave is cool to the touch even when i run these bulbs at the highpower setting

Now for the not so good even though these light claim to be dimmable i have found that while i can use them in both the low and highpower setting they emit a barelyperciptible flicker when running them in the lowpower setting on the microwave

The good news is that even though im leaving them in highpower mode im still only burning 4w each as opposed to the 40w bulbs which came with the appliance

Im sure the flicker has to do with how this particular appliance dims the power to the bulb as i know that all dimmers are not created equal
