Very small wires not much splatter at all and great heat control

Make sure you keep solder on the tip at all times though otherwise it can ruin the tip

Ive tried soldering electronics in the past with nontempcontrolled irons and they are impossible to use without burning up components

Just be aware that the temp controls do infact work you will notice the tips glow red when fully maxed

Watch the temperature setting the tip will glow cherry red if the temp is set too high

Only dislike no onoff switch so it has to be plugged unplugged each time
