Cons
The internal dimensions are less than stated due to the ridges and contours of the inside. The o-ring seal isn't rubber and doesn't have a tight fit. This is not a submergible container.
The defective hinges cause the latches to drop off and/or not function properly. The compass is garbage.

I am not sure i would trust this is more demanding situations that require true waterproofness under immersion or constant water exposure

I gave it a dunk test filling it with stones wrapped in paper towels and sinking it in the kitchen sink for about a half hour

Ive found two issues with it the gasketlarge oring used for sealing the lid isnt really attached

Its placed in a grove and isnt held in place with much friction

The result is that if something sticky gets to it i experimented with silicone grease as i thought the gasket itself might be a tad too hard to seal perfectly the gasket may lift up as you open the lid
