Pros & Cons
Pros
It is an easy removal and installation as long as you pay attention to what wire goes where. Otherwise easy install. Fit perfectly on my 1990 prowler.
A lp (propane) detector is a must for all travel trailers and rvs. Save me a couple times by tge accurated alarm. What is wrong with your packers?
Cons
Alarm would go off when it was cool (above 31 deg f) even with no measurable amount of propane. The wiring coming out of the detector has a short and only works if you play with the wiring. Accidentally left gas burner on with windows closed.
The manufacturing date code is october of 2018. The instructions show to replace within 5 years of manufacture date. These are dated there only supposed to be good for 5 years.
A month after sending it to them, the contracted is and told us that we had voided the warranty. Attempted contacting the seller and received no responses. Other units have a real warranty. Zero response form company customer service.
