My kids lived this story as will any young mr men fans

The book has been written in the style of the original mr men books really nice illustrations just like the original books which are excellent story written in a similar fashion especially as walter has appeared in many mr men books but whereas the original mr men had a theme mr tickle mr happy etc poor walter doesnt really have a defining characteristic

Its up to the usual standard of mr men although i was a bit disappointed that there is so little acknowledgement that the book isnt actually written by roger hargreaves the original author

Rogers name is all over the book but it is adam hargreaves who wrote it

As usual paying homage to his fathers original concept and creation of the mr men series his fathers name only appears on the front cover with adam being named as the author and illustrator of this story on the front inside page

This story is great to read to your little ones but is not suited to early readers as it may be too hard for them to read

The detail and photos were cute the book is paperback and liable to damage as we found with the smaller ones at bedtime
