Its only plastic but those clip on covers over the bolts in the joints were busted on arrival in three places

Once you get it you would need to tighten the arms else monitors will not hold

Its a good product there seems to be misinformation that it cant hold certain sized monitors it might not be able out the box but you can screw the sides as shown in the instruction manual and it works fine
