I do have a glass desk with metal frames so it is unable to be mounted to the glass

The fix was to aim the monitor face a bit more upwards than i wanted and then it would sag that tiny bit into position

In search of low profile monitor mount for small desk setup have tried another mount but which does keep the monitor close to the edge of the desk but that one is not adjustable other than the height and is uncomfortable to use

Assembly was fairly straightforward although i did run in to a particular issue with my monitorwhen assembling the rotating updown bracket caused issues with my monitor due to the nature of the monitor’s built in mounting system which prevented my monitor from being able to tilt downwards to my liking even to the point that it would be angled slightly upwards

Once i disengaged the portion that was causing me trouble by simply unscrewing the previous monitor stand mount the issue was resolved
