It seems to be a metal on the bottom that is bonded to tempered glass

The instructions that are provided are just picture walk thru with no really verbiage to guide you

It wasn’t difficult to figure out but i had to walk through all the steps first with the parts to make sure i clearly understood what to do for assemble

All i did was do a pilot hole for each anchor and then screwed them in
