To restate what a previous reviewer said - this unit has an auto shutoff feature, which makes no sense.

If i have to call my dog back to me, turn his collar back on and also turn my remote back on, then this is useless for certain training scenarios.

The motorola collars were water resistant and easy to use- once they were set up- but didn't have as much range as the petsafe, and the only unique feature was the voice/talk feature on the scouttrainer50.

The motorola scouttrainer 50 and 25 were both annoying to set up, as you need to use a screwdriver to open the remote to install batteries, rather than just maneuvering the backing.

Tested on my own arm the static, even at the highest level, is very weak- just a gentle buzzing- in comparison to most other collars.

The transmission isn't very distorted, and it works for most, but not all, of the range of the collar.

Unfortunately, it didn't quite work very well.

She first thought that it was cruel ventriloquist act and she would stop and look around to see where the voices were coming from.
