Pros

This valve is awesome! Pleasantly surprised. It works perfectly and was easy to install.

The only downside is that they are not full sized valves. They work great and we do not have to worried that someone forgets to open the ball valves.

Spdt relay with 12v common, no, blue and nc -> red for a normally open. Valve. You also need a 6-12v transformer plug (they sell them on amazon) to power it up. Currently writing a port of it for arduino so there's a plug and play system.

Cons

These consistently fail. It only takes a few days and they fail. After using for 1 week the replacement valve is now broken. Do not buy. They fail shortly after installation.

The valve partially closes then clicks. The unit is not sealed and any humidity or moisture can enter the assembly.

Down in the product narrative is the disclosure that the 34 in valve is not a full port valve

But i went with the three wire setup to save money

I integrated these valves with our home automation solution home assistant using an esp8266 board d1 mini and a 12 volt relay

Operational controlled with aeotec nano shutter zwave plus controller automatic blinds curtains shades gates smart

I hooked up a 24vac transformer and the replacement diode shorted out in a few seconds

5 or so seconds above 10v only tested to 15v
