    A few hundred uf cap on the vcc power side should work ok.

    The load side seemed very noisy; 1 uf and 100 uf (non-polar) on the motor side helps with spikes.

    The only reason i'm only giving it 4 stars is due to the lack of documentation or even a slip of paper to point you to a website to explain the connections to a noob like me.

    Don't run your controller off the 5v regulator that's on board as it is very low current.

    Also, it was packaged well, with lots of foam and anti-static packaging, meaning none of the pins were bent.
