The edges of the case around my screen stick out a bit, so it protects the screen well.

You have to put the rubber piece on first and then the hard purple part on to secure it well.

While this won't help for that scenario, i have accidentally dropped my phone since and the case does seem to make it landed screen side up.

For some reason i thought this included a front protector, but it doesn't.

It's a piece of silcone rubber with a plastic piece (purple and black on mine) to secure it.

It did take a couple tries to get the click points synced up so the rubber didn't get all wedged between the phone and plastic.
