Pros & Cons
Pros
This remover adjusts to fit most of my filters. It is just a little smaller than our jeep wrangler filter. The porsche 944s has an awkward oil filter location so i like the k&n filter with the 1 nut on the top.
The jaws bite very well into the can. No damaging the filter and having oil spill everywhere. As a lube tech, this thing gets the job done great.
Highlights
Quality
If you own an envoy or blazer with the 4
Changing the oil is so much easier with the right tools
I cruised along imprudently for years with the aforementioned tool but then one day it would not work
The oil filter was destroyed with the other tools
Price
It cost more then the plastic one but is well worth the price
Shipping
Nice on the fast 1 day delivery as well
Packaging/appearance
Was finally what worked to remove a frozen oil filter on a riding mower
Competitiveness
Had to use 38 to 12 adapter and good size breaker bar but it worked like a champ
