Motion sensor works best for me. The sensor is based on radar and senses movement better than infrared types.

Motion sensor works intermittently. Won't even turn on with switch. Returned and purchased another “ motion activated’ from the same manufacture.

It makes it almost useless. But enough time to not be returnable. For me it’s worthless. But it just doesn't.
