They have two layers to them, the inner layer is only connected at the wrist.

If you have larger hands these may not fit very well.

Tl;dr - recommended, unless you've got giant sized mitts or need water/wind resistance in your gloves.

I ordered the small / medium after seeing these on wirecutter, and it was way too small - with my fingers all the way in, the wrist part didn't even make it to my wrist.

Can't comment on the quality since i didn't get to wearing them, but that the sizing is absurd (i'd say my hands are an average size for adult females) doesn't speak well for these gloves.

They are snug, but that's what i want in a glove that i need to operate a touch screen phone with.
