The product did as it says but l was under the impression that there were flames that moved with the motion of the heat from the batteries not the case no flames just the look of flickering from the base

I got these as a christmas gift for my mother after her last set of candles died

They run on batteries of course so either buy rechargeables or duracell industrial in multiples of 10 also available through amazon prime
