As an added measure i fold it up over the shower rod after each shower so that the bottom part of it is not in contact with the bathtub

Its hard to tell from the picture but the material is opaque it transmits light but you cant see clearly whats on the other side

Its a thick plastic unlike the flimsy thin curtains i usually buy at the dollar store

As for color it is neither white nor truly clearit is translucent allowing most light to pass through but you cant clearly see through it

We bought this shower curtain 4 years ago and true to its claim in that time there has been very little nasty moldmildew buildup on it like you always see on the cheap plastic dollar store curtains
