I use this to control a video projector that is in my attic. Replaced an ir repeater that was not so reliable and had to physically turn it on/off. Now my projector works in concert with the rest of my christmas lights to all come on at sunset and off... Read More

The diy setup option works very well. The interface is less intuitive, but is usable and works.

Cons

The instructions are vague and so tiny i needed a magnifying glass to read them. Navigating on directv is a nightmare. Also the pre loaded drivers are not well made.

Every time you use it, on random, it throws 'device offline' error. App is a little wonky with phrases like “to be translated” instead of “continue”. This has no reset or button for pairing.

Much cheaper than logitech harmony it works well for my projector which doesn’t support smart control out of the box

This didnt come up in the list of brands and devices so i chose other and then universal remote to do the diy setup
