Yes the pulldown nozzle is plastic but every single pulldown that we looked at in other places had a plastic nozzle not sure how youre going to get away from that without spending a great deal more we looked at quite a few other pulldown faucets in the range of 300 to 700 all of them had plastic nozzles

The one thing we did not realize ahead of time is that if you change the nozzle from stream to spray you have to turn the water off to change back to stream
