Pros

This is so superior to my choices at the big box stores its amazing. It seems like the brick and mortar stores don't carry this for some reason.

This is the perfect replacement for a moen diverter. Last pic is this spout & the menards one. It replaces the original moen spout that broke after 15 years.

Easy to install and works great. The directions are easy to follow and installation is a snap. It costs a bit more than what you can buy at the hardware store, but in terms of time invested, it's a cheapie.

The moen uses a well-designed yoke clamp to grip the pipe. Comes with an inner o-ring so no putty or silicone needed.

I am very very happy with this product

I really had forgotten how much water pressure i had missed out on in my shower with the cheap spout i had previously purchased

The materials are a bit cheap but then again so is the product

I took a chance with the spout since its much easier to replace

Our last spout was leaking all over the place and i needed to buy another one

Was near exact copy but again plastic

2 add some silicone grease to the pipe you dont want any nicks on the orings

Competitiveness

Purchased it for about the same price as the off brand

Needed a replacement for my old spout and this one did the trick at a reasonable price

Plus i found out it is made in the usa
