Jens does a great job of coherently laying out some of the coolest concepts in modern jazz guitar. Everything makes sense and can be instantly applied to your playing. It has all the concepts needed to play modern jazz styles, including jazz fusion.
Jens larsen's examples are more tuneful, more melodious, more hip.

If not i would suggest joseph alexanders book 34chord tone soloing for jazz guitar34 which is a very 34visual34 book with chord diagrams and clear explanations of how and when to use them in jazz progressions particular ii v i combinations often found in jazz
