The most interesting about this volume is that the actual story proper of the origin ends a little more than halfway through the volume the rest of it is a series of interviews and retrospectives on the work itself and three omake chapters that take place before and after the one year war and in the case of the last two tie the origin nicely into mobile suit zeta gundam while also ending on a bittersweet ending for most of the characters for one it ends in an extremely painful realization that explains some of his actions during zeta

Highly recommended reading if youre a fan of the real robot genre of anime a scifi fan in general or like stories that can be funny heartwarming and painfully sad all at once along the lines of say a song of ice and fire
