Ive even had them fall out of my hand land at my feet and get kicked across gravel lenses down and still havent gotten any major scratches on the lenses

The plastic frame appears somewhat sturdy but i havent worn them in the field so check other reviews for better details on that

The metal hinges dont snap to the fully openclosed positions but they do make it more difficult to accidentally openclose the arms

The left lens on mine can be shifted in its place a very small amount but i didnt notice it until i attempted to move the lenses
