Because of its durability and imperviousness i am a fan of silicone kitchen utensils especially those that arent glued together those tend to fall apart because silicone is nonporous and so doesnt adhere to glue well

My fear is that this is creating internal stresses that may cause the silicone to part at this juncture especially under the forces i will routinely apply
