It does not attach to the bed frame we have, however, so we had to attach it to the wall instead.

If you are comparing it to a $2000 headboard, it's probably not as sturdy.

The finnish is high gloss white.

The base wood material is rubber wood,e but the fit and finish was decent, color match was within one shade (headboard was slightly lighter).

The hardware is fine, but the wrench rounded off on the 3rd bolt.
