The frother works great but i wouldn't recommend this for heating up milk alone as it only warms it up but doesn't make it hot.

A friend of ours always buys the breville, i say always because she told me it breaks right before the warranty each time so it works out well for them.

I worried it would break quickly but it didn't, it lasted at least 3 years (i can't recall when we bought it, but it is likely 4 yrs) and just now finally quit spinning (although it still heats).

I hate throwing something like this in the trash but the reality is that stuff just doesn't last like it used to.
