When your tank is flush to wall its not possible to slip a large plug or power adapted behind the cabinet but because the psu and lead come apart i didnt have this problem

The good bit is that this is really a wonderful device to bring illumination to a tank and highlight the colours of plants ornaments and fish in ways that a standard white tube cannot

Having come from a beginners pets at home tank with separate blue and white led lighting that could be used to create good day and night for the tank i was disappointed by the lido system of white on or off

The remote i assume is ir so needs line of sight but this isnt an issue unless you intend of changing the settings often

I suppose i could leave the sensor bit outside the cabinet if necessary but its not worth it

It might be useful to have a diffuser for the glass
