It does have clear film over the screen i removed it before installation

Just as was stated in other posts remove the film from the screen otherwise it looks cloudy

I can see how some can miss the protective film because there is no overlap and the film did look scuffed up but once removed when ready to close it up the screen was in perfect condition

It was easy to replace the screen but the lcd is crooked
