I tend to be hard on equipment so it was not surprising that the plastic clip broke from the swivel about a year and three months after getting it

You have to apply a lot of pressure on it to get the shell to bend

It is rather light you hook it up to the belt and even if you accidentally sit on it or bump into something or anything like that there is no risk for the glasses inside the case to be damaged

I clipped onto my purse which is one of the smaller kipling bags and it was just too bulky and cumbersome for me

But they are great at protecting your glasses in more rugged uses such as clipped to a backpack tossed in the suitcase or even protecting shades in your glove box
