Pros & Cons
Pros
The akm322 has 49 full or near full sized keys. The keys are counterweighted and feel more like a real piano than a micro keyboard. The keyboard has a built-in usb button.
In that guise, it's perfect. I want to take a moment to compare this to the other more expensive controllers i've owned over the last 2 years and why this beats them. It does the job and for a low price.
Set up with pulse or realtime jack. Works perfectly in fl studio.
Cons
Keys are not weighted. Same touch produces completelly different volume value each time. The keybed * to say the least.
For the price it's passable, but not for me. If so, then it shouldn't be advertised as new.
It is bulky for a midi-controller. Does not integrate with any daw.
Highlights
Quality
So far im happy with the new keyboard
Firing up music maker and opening one of the vst instruments the keyboard worked great with the software
Be careful with the usb port it feels like the cable provided could break the port
The quality seems to be about what you would expect for the price somewhere inbetween that of a highend device and some kind of toy
Competitiveness
I use it as a amateur music makerproducer and enjoy it
