Pros & Cons
Pros
Love gazing at this book. Keep coming back to it for inspiration. Great addition to my mcm library.
The photographs are beautiful and the text is informative. Fabulous photographs & narration. Extremely detailed with some superb photographs throughout. Great photograph and information.
Gifted to professional. Perfect gift for the mid century lover. A must for collectors.
If you're looking for mid-century decorating ideas, it's a great sourcebook. Each chapter is broken down into a different aspect of decor. Good resource for evaluating mcm styles, furnishings and colors.
Cons
The book is geographically diverse, but does not capture the broader mid-century era. The resources section is titled something like where to get 50s furnishings.

I did notice that there is a lot of text that is interesting to read but there are times where the pictures and text doesnt match up
Posted by a reviewer on Amazon
I think that is because the text is more general and the pictures are just examples

Unless quinn sticks in more pictures for a second edition

True the author is clearly an art historian hence streamlined and functional becomes streamlined and functionalistic thus referencing the functionalist movement but its hardly incomprehensible
