Its a smooth soft buttery hand to the material the zipper is sewn correctly where it is hidden and not sewn on top or outside and visible

There are lots of ties around the perimeter so it should work with just about any brand of weighted blanket

Cons i noted after the first wash when i first unzipped the cover that almost all of the ties we’re frayed some pretty badly

Had i realized the issue before washing i could have possibly sewed them a seam to seal the ends

It seems like they were rough cut and not properly seamed
