I love this grinder! My daughter fell in love with chicken meatballs recently. Ground chicken is over twice the price of boneless so this grinder has paid for itself very quickly! Don't put it in the dishwasher! (I did not read care instructions prior to washing) but even though the parts I put in the washer lost their pretty shine, everything still works great.  Read Less

Perfect fit for my Kitchenaid Professional 5 Plus.Based on previous reviews and comments about other meat grinders, after I attached it I pushed 3 slices of plain bread thru at speed 4/5. They came out clean - no funk or metal shavings lol. I threw that away and proceeded with the cubes of slightly frozen (20 minutes) chuck roast and beef liver, using the large grinder plate.No problems.I added dried parsley and basil to the bowl, some bread crumbs and hand mixed that and then pushed it thru the grinder using the small plate. That was kinda messy.I probably could have just used the small plate from the beginning but I wanted to mix the herbs and bread crumbs in evenly and not just have them sprinkled on the cubes of meat.Anyway it all got processed nicely. That mix was used for jerky treats for my dogs - they are in the dehydrator now.Cleanup was very simple. I pushed two slices of bread thru at the end. Those got mixed in by hand with all of the meat. The included brush is perfect.The units is all metal, solid and well made. I’m happy with it and the fact that it’s virtually the same price as the KA brand grinder - which is made of plastic.  Read Less
