Pros

Is great that the lacing on merrill's allow for easy lace adjustment from the toe to ankle just to accommodate my foot. They fit perfectly with just the right amount of toe room. These boots fit true to size are comfortable and gooood grip!

The moab 2 is an attractive hiker that offers a comfortable fit with great traction. The contoured tread really helps to minimize effort in my stride, movement feels effortless.

They last forever (with care). These are no exception! And they hold up! My everyday shoes for the last couple months. Ordered another pair for everyday.

Cons

They are too high, and as such, they are the first part to touch the ground with each stride. The toebox isn't generous at all. The bottom of the sole split open under the ball of the foot. It's pretty disappointing for a shoe that costs over $100.

After about a month of wearing 5 days a week, they now creak with every step. They aren't as comfortable and they make creaking sounds as i walk around. They squeak when walking on a tile floor.

Since i had not been ale to use before, now i have just lost my mi ey cause i can't return them.
