Holds an edge well and razor sharp out the box. Edge retention is almost as good as it's much more expensive competitors. I'm a little upset because i like sharpening them.

Quality, price, practicality. Comparable to $150+ chef knives by wusthof and zwilling.

After only three uses, slicing cooked medium-rare steak, there are stains on both sides of the knife. Can't get the stink out of the handle.

Nothing in the description or photos on amazon informs the buyer of this. The knife i received has no bolster.
