The bowl has a disc that pictures food on one side and after the pet finishes eating, the child flips over the disc for the picture of water.

This set is a bit smaller than i expected -- in my head i imagined full sized stuffed animals, but these are a fair bit smaller (think bigger than a beanie baby but smaller than a 'standard' sized stuffed animal).
