The screen material is exactly 36 inches wide just as stated on the product description therefore it will not be suitable for a door opening that is 36 inches wide because 1516 of an inch per side will be used up for affixing to the velcro

I have to keep attaching therefore in my opinion it would be better to order a screen that is roughly 2 inches wider than the actual door opening

This was my error i did not notice the description that clearly states for doors 34 inches wide at the time of my order i only saw screen size 36 x 83 not sure if this was updated after i ordered

This brings me to one more issue the instructions state to affix the velcro strips to the screen material prior to hanging

I attached the glued side of strips to door frame first and then stuck the screen to that however if you order a slightly bigger screen then it might be best to follow the instructions since the material would have to be positioned in a way that takes up the slack

I am fixing this with my favorite glue automotive goo also available on amazon and my goto for anything that needs attachingmending but hanging the screen higher up on the outside of the door frame rather than my installation within the door frame would work as well
