Pros
We have this mounted to the ceiling attaching a 200lb bag. The weight of the bag puts just enough tension on the spring so it separates a hair at rest, and then still has enough springiness to take the force off the ceiling joists.
Works well with a 65lb bag and it's perfect for a 100lb bag. Made my 50lbs bag feel much heavier as it reduces the sway in the chains that connect it to the bag. Had done both for my 100lbs heavy bag, and aqua bag.
This thing absorbs about 95% of the vibration moving up through the bag. Almost no vibration for my carport and house. I have a heavy bag in the garage that shakes the house, especially the room directly above the heavy bag.
The spring is absolutely heavy duty. Can withstand pounding the bag. Has good recoil/strength and has been good so far. Works great with a 100 lbs bag.

Although if you hit the bag upwards at a certain angle the bag can bounce and make a bit of a ruckus as i installed it in my garage made out of metal with no gib or insulation

The spring is very thick and looks like it wouldnt budge but once the bag starts moving and bouncing you can see the spring work and recoil

I have it holding a five foot heavy bag that weighs about 150 pounds on it and the spring is is slightly uncoiled about 116” spread between coils

I was too nervous hoisting up my heavy bag fearful the constant hits would mess up the rafters and wooden beams

Without the spring any impact on the bag would rattle the garage door and throwing any hard strikes that actually made the bag lift up and drop made the whole building shake
