    In addition to height, i needed compactness, specifically 18 which is what i'd heard was the maximum size you could carry into disney world.

    The only real complaint i have is that the level bubble is on top of the ball adjustment, so there is no way to really level the pan axis, so it's not the best for shooting panos.

    Definitely recommend if you're looking for a lightweight tripod to use for travel, taking selfies, timelapses, making videos or anything else.

    It locks very securely, and is relatively lightweight and very small.

    The only con point is that the original 1/4 screw needs a coin to be fixed in the camera basis - i solved this problem by replacing the original screw by another stainless one with a thumb support.

    I purchased my mefoto tripod way back in 2012/2013 and because of wear and tear due to daily use, the plastic shins that act as brakes inside the legs got brittle and broke.
