Pros

Eu regulation provides an extra sense of security regarding the origin and materials used in manufacture. It cleans off easily. I don't have to worry about it rusting, and i can see that it's clean inside.

Made of borosilicate glass, it's tough enough to withstand the occasional bump on the stovetop. It has a much more sturdy feeling than i thought it would.

Cons

Glass portion is great but the lid is not practical. Popped off upon first boil. Melted plastic that has dripped all over a hot stove, once cooled requires a lot of effort to clean up.

The kettle has the ugly 'comic sans'-style font printed on it, instead of the more attractive helvetica-style. Glass is not thick enough for durability.
