    Set up and started to scan all around to see how it would work out

    The barrel is a little tight to move such that if you dont screw the eyepiece down good it will start to spin as you try to change the zoom

    While i do not have both to compare those that did considered the meade to be either equivalent or quite emphatically better

    What many astronomers do is use a zoom to locate an object at low magnification and then zoom to what seems to be the best viewing magnification again say 16mm and swap the zoom out for a fixed 16mm eyepiece

    It seems that it would fit into any meade telescope that has the same size opening as this
