Except at first so far if you cover the glass of liquid it does keep the silicone smell in your drink so i just leave a small opening at one end of the glass top and no smell beats not having a cover at all

They don’t work the greatest on popcans though because the thing on top of the cans that pops them open sticks up and doesn’t let them suction to it
