I guess i have been lucky i have bought probably two dozen various mcs frames in different sizes and so far only one has arrived with broken glass

To open hold the edges and bend upwards pushing the glass up and out

Very inexpensive so the quality isnt great but they were only to frame some bw popstar photos in a spare bedroom

You cant really see in the picture but the frame is very thin so it gives you the maximum picture view
