It is much heavier than a regular volleyball to be able to light up so hard to have a lot of contact with

That being said the volleyball can take a pounding on cement as its being bounced repeatedly

There are times that the lights blinks off but then blinks back on and stays on for a good amount of time as it is being bounced against the floor
