The umbrella finally broke when a strong gust of wind blew the canopy inward so hard that i could barely walk anymore i closed it in that instant but the strained mechanisms didnt like being pushed from the outside and simultaneously being closed my guess

Its almost impossible to get it to lock back into place after using though i have to exert a ton of strength while pushing down to get it to click
