Pros

Mayfair's solid bamboo toilet seat with brushed nickel hinges is probably the nicest toilet seat we have ever owned. Bamboo is very smooth and sturdy.

It is very well made & really does “class up” the toilet- a difficult task and one often overlooked. It looks good with my overall bathroom decor and is more comfortable and sturdy than the seat that came with the toilet.

Cons

The photo as shown is also deceiving as the product is not the color as shown. Design and functionality is horrible.

The metal hardware corrodes quickly. After eight months the coating on the metal started peeling off, it looks terrible now. Also i have trouble with the bolts constantly loosening up.

Mayfair agrees to a return. Buyer beware buying anything from this vendor. The 60% price hike. To me $40 is a lot of money.
