Stainless is the way to go for me however the prices range from $30 to $50-80 and >$100. You won't be disappointed. Bought 2, quality as expected, would recommend to all.

It is stainless but the metal is very thin. Others have commented that it is flimsy.

The metal is too thin and concave slightly at the bottom. The gasket seems to be loose. Hopefully, ours is just a fluke.

Arrived already damaged and defective. Returned for refund. Hope that one works out. Luckily amazon is good about refunds, and i returned it.

I have a smaller version of this espresso pot which is almost decent, but this one is dreadful. It never actually finishes bubbling because it can't force the water into the top of the pot.
