Pros

The size is perfect for a medium sized pack. Perfect size and durability.

Pygmy falcon 2 and falcon 3 are great backpacks. The falcon 3 is slightly bigger so for a little more dough you can upgrade. I wish they would make khaki foliage water bottle pouches to match my falcon 2 i just bought.

Cons

If you want a darker red like seen in the picture, it isn't. It was seriously damaged in the baggage hold during flight and the transport to claim. Will be sending this bag back for an exchange. Returning it asap.

The padding on this panel is very very thin and flat! There is no contour to allow heat to escape from the back area as found on nicer packs! I have a $30 backpack which has 4 times more padding and contour on the back, and is the same size. My husban... Read More

Also i bought this straight from the maxpedition amazon page as im weary of fakes and also this specific bag falcon ii is no longer made

With a half full bladder the pack still bulges and rocks back and forth on your back because of the hump

Competitiveness

Compared to even some semi expensive bags i have this is just a step above the competition

You absolutely can not go wrong with this or any other maxpedition product

But at this pricepoint youre competing with mystery ranch and similar competitors so i need to be picky

I had been looking at maxpedition packs for years not wanting to spend the money
